Our solutions use low-frequency RF tags and readers with patented technology for local positioning.

Low Frequency Model

  • The reader emits energy through the antenna in the form of electromagnetic (radio) waves
  • The transponder (tag) responds by sending tag-specific information
  • The antenna receives the tag information which is processed by the reader and sent to a computer

Low Frequency Performance
USM Systems' low frequency solution uses dual frequency, low frequency RF (115/150 KHz) that supports multiple tags in a coverage field simultaneously up to 10-ft read range. This provides you with high read rates — up to 50 IDs per second.
